Since opening its doors more than 80 years ago, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has been dedicated to preserving history, honoring excellence and connecting generations.
Once inside the Museum, your cherished memories and moments come flooding back—whether you are 10 years old or 70 years old, a casual follower or a passionate fan. It’s not only about your team and your baseball hero, or even the awe-inspiring sight of the marble and bronze of the Plaque Gallery—it’s about the way the Game connects us all.
The Museum has something for everyone, with exhibits covering a vast array of topics from the history-making moments and records, to baseball’s influence on America’s cultural development.
Hours: We are open 7 days a week. Currently we are open from 9 am – 5 pm, from 5/30 – 9/5 we will be open 9 am – 7 pm. On 9/6 we will return to being open from 9 am – 5 pm. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Special Instructions: Guests are encouraged to to visit www.baseballhall.org/reopening to review our Covid-19 safety protocols and to purchase their tickets in advance.

COVID-19 Protocols: Per New York State guidelines, the use of face masks for all staff and guests will be required. Free single-use masks will be available at the Museum entrance for guests who do not have one.
Within the Museum, all exhibit spaces are expected to remain open and functional. Guests will receive a rubber-tipped stylus to use when interacting with touch-screens and buttons.
Directional markers have been added to Museum spaces, along with signage reminding guests of safety procedures. More than 25 hand sanitizing stations have also been placed throughout the Museum.
Increased cleaning and disinfection will take place both within Museum spaces and office areas, while protective clear acrylic shields have been installed at the Museum admission desk and at check-out counters within the Museum Store.
