We’ll see you at the Mill for Exploration Days throughout the season. Each Exploration Day is built around a particular topic and features engaging activities, demonstrations by presenters with traditional skills, and other special programming. Activities, mill tours, and chances to tour our exhibitions are available throughout the day.

All activities, unless otherwise noted, are included in the cost of admissions.

June 17, 2023:  Power of the Past
Hanford Mills Museum will explore the power of the past at its first Exploration Day and NYS Path Through History event

July 15, 2023:  Dairy Exploration Day
Celebrate with Hanford Mills Museum, just in time for National Ice Cream Day.

August 12, 2023:  Agriculture Exploration
Join Hanford Mills as we explore agriculture in the region.

September 23, 2023:  Metal at the Mill
The Metal at the Mill Exploration day will feature metal in a variety of ways.

October 14, 2023:  Woodsmen’s
This Exploration Day celebrates wood products and processing.
