Let’s Talk about Economic Development at the Greater Oneonta Historical Society
Sunday October 15, 2:00 pm

Join us for a conversation based on stories that explore past and current economic development in Oneonta. This program will share interview selections from the Kitchen Table Conversations program hosted by Dr. Alan Donovan. Once everyone has listened to the stories, then we’ll share our own ideas and experiences with one another. This program is part of collaboration with the Cooperstown Graduate Program’s “Listen to Everyone” initiative. Let’s Talk is free and open to the public.

Let’s Talk About Women’s History at the Delaware County Historical Association
Saturday October 21, 2:00 pm

Join us for a conversation based on stories that explore how women’s roles in society have changed over time. This program will share selections from the oral history collections of Hanford Mills Museum and the Cooperstown Graduate Program. The oral history selections reveal the personal challenges and triumphs of women in the United States. They encourage new perspectives on how we think about women and politics, education, healthcare, and other important issues. Once everyone has listened to the stories, then we’ll share our own ideas and experiences with one another. Free and open to the public. This program is part of a collaboration with the Cooperstown Graduate Program’s “Listen to Everyone” initiative.
